Time for our annual rainy family camping trip. We tried hard to find a desination that would offer good views, possibility of dry weather, and fishing. That's not an easy task, especially with a bad weather forecast. We settled on Swamp Lake, a remote area to the east of Mt Rainier. It turns out it stayed pretty dry and the lake was supposedly stocked with fish, but we didn't get any views and we didn't catch any fish. But as usual it was a pleasant and relaxing weekend and lots of fun spending time in the great outdoors with my family.
